Celebrate Texas Tiki Week in Austin from August 3 – 9th with tiki cocktails and culture! The Townsend is offering a special four drink menu available now through Sunday, August 9 for Texas Tiki Week, created by Townsend food-and-beverage wrangler Justin Elliott (formerly Bar Manager at Qui, now Director of Hospitality Projects for Penumbral Strategic Ventures).

The Townsend is a high-end cocktail lounge and live music venue located at 718 Congress Avenue in the heart of Austin’s downtown arts and entertainment district across from the Paramount Theater. Housed in the 3,400 square foot landmark Townsend-Thompson Building, The Townsend offers a delicious menu of small plates and craft cocktails.
I visited The Townsend last week the gals at Seek Wander Share for cocktail hour and here’s what we had!

Singapore Sling
Ford’s gin, benedictine, cointreau guignolet, lime juice, topo chico, and aromatic bitters.
Sundowner
Cognac Paul Beau VS, cointreau, galliano, and lemon juice.
Saturn Drink
Ford’s gin, underberg, passionfruit, lemon, and orgeat.
Eastern Sour
Old grand-dad bonded bourbon, orgeat, lime juice, and orange juice.
Tea Sandwiches
Cucumber, and cream cheese.
Smoked Trout Pate
Radish relish, cracklin’, and pumpernickel.
Bagna Cauda
Raw local farm vegetables, warm garlic, and anchovy olive oil. We loved snacking and dipping the fresh veggies int he roasted garlic oil!
Quail Knots
Charred lemon, farm greens, and rice wine beurre blanc.
Porchetta Bun
Arugula, basil, and citrus aioli. My absolute favorite and one of the best pork buns in Austin!
