ACTIVATE YOUR WRISTBAND
Activate your wristband on the ACL website to sign up for ACL cashless to pay for goods, food, drinks and more with the tap of your wrist. At the festival, you’ll be able to pay with your wristband at any bar or vendor location displaying the ACL Cashless logo. It’s super easy and I highly recommend activating!
DON’T DRIVE, DOWNLOAD FARE
There is NO parking at the festival site, scheduled road closures, and parking is strongly discouraged in surrounding neighborhoods. The easiest way to get to Austin City Limits is to a ride sharing app like Fare.
FARE is the new ride sharing app that allows you to choose your drivers, schedule rides when it’s convenient for you and ride free for sharing, not once, for life. Drivers earn 80% of the Fares and keep 100% of the tips. You can schedule pickups 30 minutes to 7 days in advance. If you’re flying into Austin for ACL, you can schedule your pick up and schedule your drop off at the ACL grounds beforehand.

WHAT TO PACK
Reusable water bottle – Austin City Limits will have refill stations, which will save you a pretty penny and ensure you are consistently well-hydrated.
Hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, and fan – anything to keep cool and try not to overheat.
Wet wipes – the lines at the porta potties will be long and the last thing you want is to not be able to wash your hands before eating.
Backpack – keep your essentials in a backpack that will allow you to be hands free.
Cash – don’t pay the exorbitant ATM fees within the festival grounds. Hit up the bank beforehand with enough cash to habits eat and drink your way through the ACL weekend.
Portable charger – there will be charing stations but stay on-the-go with plenty of portable chargers to keep your phone fully charged.
Blanket / Picnic blanket – trust me, you’re going to get tired from standing. Roll it up and pack it in your backpack.
TAKE A PAPER MAP
They pass it them out at the entrance. Cell phones die and service will be spotty. Take one.

WEAR COMFY SHOES
You’re going to be walking around all day and the last thing you want are dirty, sore feet from a pair of sandals. Put on the sneakers or low booties. I also recommend checking the weather. ACL Weekend 2 typically gets rained out and standing in mud with sandals is gross. Trust me, it’s happened twice.
TRY LOCAL FOOD AT ACL EATS
Plenty of Austin’s best eats will be at ACL’s own food court, ACL Eats. Favorites include Chi’Lantro BBQ, Burro Cheese Kitchen, East Side King, Micklethwait Barbecue, Peached Tortilla, Torchy’s Tacos, Trudy’s, and Wholly Cow.
