Austin may still be in the high 90s but fall is finally here and I’ve started decorating the house with or without cooler weather. I’m hosting a Friendsgiving this year for my blogger babes and wanted to put together something extra special for each of them.
Inspired by Great America‘s Southern tradition, I created these DIY mini pumpkins with cute faces to go along with the place cards. Best part? No carving required! White mini pumpkins and eucalyptus branches are perfect for the fall season but you can always switch them out for fresh flowers and orange pumpkins.
Brewed and bottled in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains, Great America was born from Southern tradition and raised by a new breed of greatness. Great America is a flavored malt beverage specialty that has seven distinctive flavors: apple pie, peach, Carolina clear, peach, strawberry, lemonade, red white & blueberry, and watermelon. Great America can easily be enjoyed straight from the mason jar or used to create other cocktails!
Decorate your home with these DIY no carve mini pumpkins, they even double up as an extra special gift for your guests to take home!

INSTRUCTIONS
Table of Contents
1. TRIM EUCALYPTUS
Using scissors, cut off the tops of the branches to 3 to 4 inches. Gently remove all leaves 1-inch from the end of the stems with your fingers.
2. DRILL HOLES IN MINI PUMPKINS
Using either a power drill with a drill bit or nail, drill two shallow holes 1-inch apart into the mini pumpkins. Be care to not drill entirely through the pumpkin.
3. INSERT EUCALYPTUS STEMS
Insert eucalyptus steams into each drilled hole.
4. DRAW FACES
Using the permanent maker, draw two half moons and then add lines to create eyelashes.
5. ADD PLACE CARDS
To go along with the cute mini pumpkins, I asked Natalie from Mint & Maple to create these beautiful place cards. The gold tags with each of the invited guest’s names written out by handwritten calligraphy adds that extra special touch!
