I’m always on-the-go and I travel quite often for the blog, which means I’m constantly away from my home. I now feel safe and sound whether I’m at home or away with my new Amazon Echo Spot that pairs with the Arlo Pro 2 Wire-Free Indoor/Outdoor Security Camera System.

ARLO PRO 2 IS WIRELESS
Setting up the Arlo Pro 2 Wire-Free Indoor/Outdoor Security Camera System took less than 10 minutes! I’ve always hated camera systems because of the ugly wires and having to install them next to an outlet but Arlo Pro 2 is 100% wireless! The design is minimal so it doesn’t stick out – can you see where I installed mine in the photo above? 🙂
Arlo Pro 2 cameras are 1080p HD, weatherproof, have night vision, 2-way audio, and the batteries last for 3 months and are easily rechargeable. You can program the cameras to start recording when motion and sound are detected to send alerts straight to your smartphone, and even activate a 100-decibel smart siren. The sensitivity of motion and sound can be adjusted too so when I am inside the house, I have motion and sound sensitivity decreased to 1. When I leave for a trip, I activate the Armed mode and increase motion and sound sensitivity to 80 and turn on push notifications.
This is a camera capture from my Arlo Pro 2 installed downstairs so I can easily see what Basil and Beethoven are up to. Arlo Pro 2’s 130° viewing angle allows me to see my entire downstairs.

MEET MY NEW PERSONAL ASSISTANT: AMAZON ECHO SPOT
Amazon Echo Spot sits right next to me in my upstairs office and I can ask her anything from what’s the weather to what’s on my calendar, or turn up to the music! When the doorbell rings, I can ask Alexa, “Alexa, show me the front door” to get a live streaming of my front door view from the Arlo Pro 2 camera.
Love that I can keep an eye on my house whether I’m at home or away!
