Table of Contents
Jack of Clubs tacos
If you like breakfast tacos then you’ll love the Jack of Club’s taco. It comes with a fried egg, potatoes, black beans, crisp corn tortilla strips, grated cheddar jack cheese, sour cream, and cilantro with a drizzle of diablo sauce on a flour tortilla.
Green Chile Pork Missionary Style taco
I’m a big fan of green chilies so I really liked the Green Chile Port Missionary Style taco. I do this it’s interesting that Torchy’s Tacos decided to do both a crispy corn tortilla and flour tortilla though. I just ate it without the flour tortilla!
It comes with slow-roasted pork carnitas simmered with green chiles, pickled onions, guacamole, freshly grated jack cheese, and cilantro with a creamy chipotle sauce on a crisp corn tortilla inside a flour tortilla.
Ace of Spades taco
The Ace of Spades secret taco has a sliced jalapeno sausage link, grilled brisket, fried egg, green chile queso, cotija cheese, cheddar jack cheese, sour cream, and cilantro with diablo sauce on a flour tortilla. Whew – that was a mouthful, literally.
Mad Cow taco
The Mad Cow taco on Torchy’s secret menu was another one of my favorites because of the grilled corn!
Tender marinated and grilled beef fajita, black beans, grilled corn off the cob, jack cheese, and cilantro with chipotle sauce on a flour tortilla.
The Matador taco
I really liked the combination of chopped brisket, grilled jalapenos, pickled onions, avocado, sour cream, and cilantro on a crisp corn tortilla inside a flour tortilla on the Matador taco.
The Trailer Park Hillbilly Style taco
The trailer park taco is one of the most popular tacos on Torchy’s regular menu with fried chicken that you can get “trashy” by subbing lettuce for queso. Because this is Texas, y’all.
You can also get the trailer park taco “hillbilly style” on the Torchy’s Tacos secret menu. The difference is the added chorizo, chopped bacon, pico de gallo, and green chile queso.
The Sanchez taco
And the seventh taco on the Torchy’s secret menu is The Sanchez with eggs, fried poblano chile, guacamole, escabeche carrots, and cheese with poblano sauce on a flour tortilla.
Green Chile Queso
You can’t miss the queso at Torchy’s – it’s topped with guacamole, cotija cheese, cilantro, and diablo sauce. Or opt for the Hillbilly queso that’s the green chile queso upgraded with chorizo.
And with all those tacos, you’ll need a drink. I like the frozen strawberry margarita or the Peg Leg – any house frozen margarita with a coronita.
