A year ago, I adopted Beethoven from the Austin Animal Shelter. He was one of four kittens (Mozart, Bach, & Chopin) that I helped foster from the local shelter. Adding a cat to my home has changed my way of life, and Basil’s! I’ve partnered up with IAMS™ Cat to share a day in the life of my cat.
In February (National Dental Month) IAMS™ Cat introduced IAMS™ ORAL CARE COMPLETE™ cat food specifically designed to combat the number one health issue cats face today: oral care. IAMS™ ORAL CARE COMPLETE™ contains ideal calcium and mineral levels to help keep teeth and gums healthy, and has a larger, groovier and crunchier kibble, designed to provide a deep clean that scrapes away plaque and tartar.
See how Beethoven is liking his new IAMS:
8:30 a.m. I always curl up around Mom’s head at night on the pillow. Mom’s alarm goes off around 8:30a.m., she turns it off, and goes back to sleep.
8:45 a.m. She hits snooze for the second time.
9:00 a.m. Mom gets up to shower, and I settle in for my morning nap.
9:30 a.m. After makeup and fixing her hair, Mom heads downstairs to make her first cup of coffee. I like sitting on the dining table to watch her, even though I’m not supposed to.
10:00 a.m. Breakfast is served.
Mom says IAMS™ ORAL CARE COMPLETE™ offers cats a 100% complete and balanced adult nutrition with 0% fillers and high-quality, recognizable ingredients for lifelong health. When cat owners feed IAMS™ Cat products, including the new ORAL CARE COMPLETE™ formula, to their furry friend they’re choosing a premium food that cats will love.
IAMS ORAL CARE COMPLETE™ is available now at major retailers and pet stores nationwide in 3.5, 7, 16 and 22 pound bags ranging from approximately $7 – $30. For more information, visit IAMS.com.
10:05 a.m. My typical morning includes helping with the photo shoots – have to smell everything and knock things off the table.
10:35 a.m. I like to look out the window. I use to like pushing the plants off the counter too.
11:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m. I spend most the day visiting the fish to drink from the fish tank, meditating, thinking about life, and a cat nap here and here.
9:00 p.m. Mom always comes home with a sweet treat for herself, but I’d prefer some catnip.
9:30 p.m. Ending a long, productive day with a yummy dinner from IAMS.
