Tip: I like to use the Pantene Miracle Rescue Multitasking 10 in 1 Spray before I go swimming – it helps protect my hair!
3. Visit a new destination
While I’ve been to Alaska a couple of years ago, it was for Christmas so the state was covered in snow with only a couple of hours of daylight. I’ve been wanting to go back to Alaska in the summer and I did this month! Alaska is stunning in the summer – did you know it’s home to the largest national forest in the U.S.?! The environment was rainy due to the tropical climate but we also got to experience a glacier by boat, hike, and seaplane!
We were on the go in Alaska visiting three different cities that included kayaking on the Pacific Ocean, hiking through the Tongass National Forest, and flying over the Misty Fjords National Monument so my hair needed a little extra care when I got home. I used the Pantene Miracle Rescue Intense Rescue Shots – this deep conditioning treatment helps target extreme hair damage and hair ampoules help prevent split ends and restore moisture. The tube is also travel-friendly!

4. Patio dining at a local restaurant
Austin is pretty warm during the summer but there are so many restaurants with beautiful patios to wine and dine. Here are a couple of my favorites:
- Aba
- Neighborhood Sushi
- Bar Peached
- De Nada
- Fresa’s

5. Hike in a national park
Put on your hiking boots or sneakers and explore a national park! There’s something about getting outside and seeing the views of nature that just makes me really happy. I did go on a camper van trip through Utah to visit Zion National Park and Bryce Canyon National Park and LOVED it.
The Pantene Miracle Rescue Collection helps rescue my hair from my daily on-the-go lifestyle and with all of these summer adventures, I need that extra help! The Pantene Miracle Rescue Deep Conditioning Treatment is perfect for everyday use and if my hair is feeling extra dry from swimming, I’ll add a few pumps of the Miracle Rescue Moisture Mix-In to the Deep Conditioning Treatment for an added hydration boost.
The real star of the Pantene Miracle Rescue Collection is the Pantene Miracle Rescue Intense Rescue Shot! This little tube of gold helps deeply repair signs of hair damage – I like to use this every other week. Just shampoo and condition and then apply to damp hair. Making sure to focus on the mid section of my hair to the tips while avoiding my roots, I also like to let this soak into my hair longer, so sometimes I’ll apply and put my hair up in a bun for a couple of hours before rinsing out.
