With Arro’s new gorgeous outdoor patio, this French restaurant is my top pick for that second big date. Think French bistro meets 1950s diner with astroturf (according to Austin Monthly) that makes me want to kick of my heels and do cartwheels. Indulge on housemade charcuterie, Antonelli’s cheese, lobster bisque, crispy quail, bone marrow, steak frites, parisian gnocchi, pot de crème and profiteroles.

Italic
Sweep them off their feet with a romantic meal at Italic, Austin’s local Italian restaurant in downtown Austin. Keep the negronis coming (it’s on tap!), or opt for a classy glass of Italian wine from Italic’s floating wine bar. You can also try to recreate the spaghetti scene from Lady and the Tramp with Italic’s spaghetti carbonara. Try being the key word. It’s so good that you won’t want to share.
