If you’re looking for a great place to eat in the Domain area of Austin, TX, Second Bar + Kitchen is the perfect spot. This American restaurant has been open for more than 10 years and offers a wide variety of food options, from artisanal pizzas to burgers that have been nationally recognized. This is a great place for everyone, cocktails at happy hours, make a dinner reservation for date night, or sleep in, then roll into brunch on Saturday or Sunday. Happy hours are from Sunday to Thursday with $5 drinks and snacks and $10 pizzas.

If you’re looking for some delicious, authentic Chinese food in Austin, TX, be sure to check out Xian Sushi and Noodles. Their slow braised 36-hour pork ribs are mouthwatering, as well as their Fried chicken with buttermilk biscuits. Be sure to try their Soft Pretzels & Provolone Fondue too! The Chopped Chicken Salad is also a great option for a healthier meal. In both, the focus is on considerate service, exceptional flavors, and social beats found here. Bakery Lorraine
If you’re looking for a delicious pastry shop in the Austin area, look no further than Bakery Lorraine. This locally owned and nationally recognized shop is famous for its colorful macarons and exquisite French pastries. I had the chance to try out the Birthday Cake macaron, and it was amazing! A portion of all proceeds from this macaron will be donated to QWELL, which is an organization dedicated to raising funds to support the work of the QWELL Community Foundation to make Greater Austin a welcoming place for LGBTQIA+ people. Beyond food, The Domain has so much to offer as a mixed-used space great for lifestyle designers wanting a balanced life between work, leisure, shopping, and nightlife in a bustling complex on Century Oaks Terrace. The outdoor shopping mall has popular high-end boutiques and great restaurants. Over 800 residential units dot the area with a high density of office space. For out-of-town visitors, there are four hotels- The Domain, The Archer Hotel, Lone Star Court by Valencia Group, and Aloft Austin. In and around The Domain, you’ll find many food trucks. Some of my favorites include Aurora Venezuelan Food, Greens ‘n Grill, That Burger, and Beirut Restaurant.
