Gelato makes me really happy. So when friends ask for date ideas or just simply wanting a sweet treat, I’ve been recommending Gelateria Gemelli. Gemelli’s serves up the most delicious gelato in Austin made with local ingredients in the most insta-worthy shop with marble tables.
Taylor of The Simple Sol and I had a girl’s date for Galentine’s Day, and we had so much fun trying all the different flavors. They even serve boozy cocktails like negronis. Apparently in Europe, gelato is typically served with a negroni. Hey, I’m not complaining.
The olive oil gelato with affogoto was delightful and my favorite flavor at Gelateria Gemelli is the earl grey gelato!
What To Order: Earl grey gelato, pineapple mint gelato, affogoto, and boozy cocktails.
